[/ultimate_heading][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]My first attempts at bringing this solution to the world was on the platter of what I call your “Audacity to Lead” which is globally known as Audacity2Lead, the training and education company we now run. The mission was to provide the courage and audacity to go after the things that matter to you in life and business.
From starting the Audacity2Lead podcast, I created the Nigeria Podcast Network as a way to help entrepreneurs and business owners give expression to their voices globally through podcasting. That has gone on to become a very successful endeavour with thousands of members who are doing immensely well in their different fileds.
But I wasn’t always my best self. There were times I struggled with habits that were distructive, there were times I wasn’t confident in myself, and then sometimes issues pop up, and I would feel helpless to confront and handle them… and so many other things. (Sounds familiar?)
In my quest to understand my own human condition, I began to study every discipline that has ever produced any material on what it means to be human. From science, to religion, to psychology, to education, to economics, and so many others.
As I began to apply the things I learn and make tiny tweaks in my own life, I began to notice big changes, increased wisdom, and people began to commend my improvement. In fact, a popular female Health Coach wrote a post about my rapid improvement which she called, “The evolution of Baba Ijebu.” (Yeah, I was once labelled Baba Ijebu, and a broke-ass pastor.)
As I began to pay attention and to distill what I did to make these big changes happen in my life in less than 2 years, it came down to 12 tiny tweaks I made to go from where I was to where I am now. On closer observation, I have found the same 12 steps are what other uber successful people take to become who they are now.
So I began to teach these steps to members of Uptimize Your Life Mentoring program, which is a private monthly in-person event where our partners, mentees and proteges gather in my home to acquire the next best step in creating a life that makes sense to them.
As a teacher and trainer, I have an uncanny gift of simplifying tough concepts for people to grasp. This has led to influencing hundreds of leaders around the world – from almost every continent.
