CAN WE HAVE A DIFFERENT COMMENTING SYSTEM, PLEASE?

What if I change what you’re used to?

By the end of this post, I’ll make a demand from you. Be prepared to do what I ask as you read on.

Today is a good day.

Yesterday was another good day, but can never be as good as today.

If all of your attention has been on yesterday, you need to be quarantined.

By now , you would have noticed some changes taking place on this blog, don’t be alarmed. I’m really keen on giving you value.

Real value.

As a way to accomplish that, I want to sample your opinions. Even if you don’t answer, just a few answers will be enough for me to make the leap.

I get great encouragements from the comments you leave on this blog, and yes, I like it to improve, but then there’s something more important.

That is what I want us to discuss.

I want you to interact with your friends on this blog.

Besides , this is a blog focused on young, emerging leaders, so doing some things off cut the regular should be part of our badge. Am I right?

Now this is it.

What do you think about coming to this blog next time. Tomorrow. Later today. Any time from now. and all the comments are gone?

If you’re a blogger, you will probably have noticed that spam comments can be terrific to handle. The more you remove, the more some knock their heads in.

I know Akismet and some backend plugins can handle this, but spam is spam irrespective of the plugin used. At least it still enters, you’re the one screening them out.

Also, comments can take up space on your server especially if you’re on a shared hosting and all you have is a 1GB disk space. Too bad

Now I want to change the commenting system on this blog, so that everyone can have huge interaction with each other. You won’t need to enter emails, or maybe your URL link or tick anything.

These are the ideas I want to implement:

Facebook

FACEBOOK COMMENTING SYSTEM

The advantage of facebook is that, you won’t need to enter your details when you want to comment.

Disqus

DISQUS COMMENTING SYSTEM

Disqus seems to fascinate better because it integrates all other social media into the system, so a new user can comment without a Disqus account.

LET ME HEAR FROM YOU PLEASE:

What do you think will work better for you? Which of these 2 commenting system will enhance your interaction with this blog? Leave me a comment below, and we’re good to go.

  1. I love this idea of yours and much more I love the fact that you’re taking permission from us (your readers) before changing it. I believe the new commenting system will be easier and more effective. Nice one, keep it up!

  2. I must thank you. I met this website yesterday and having digested what it take. I’d said the Facebook option is the best.

I love podcasting and have seen a Naija Podcaster.

God Bless… Today is my birthday.
